1. Christmas is right around the corner! I went to CS to help my Mom with some holiday projects. We went shopping and Christmas is everywhere! Music, decorations, even Santa's Castle is almost up! I love Christmas time and everything that comes with it, so this put a huge smile on my face. Austin will be ready for December with all his new holiday outfits that I can't wait to see him in! We also picked out two Christmas CD's at Target today and played them in the car on our way home. It might be too early to put out our decorations, but it's never too early to listen to Christmas music!
2. Watching Austin play. He is really starting to climb and jump while still keeping his balance! When we were at the Mall my Mom and I sat and watched him play. He kept trying to climb on top of the frog and bumble bee hoppers like the other big kids. He feel several times, but never cried and never gave up. Finally he was able to climb on top and keep his balance! It was fun to watch him think it through and figure out how to do it all on his own.
3. My Mom was sitting on her couch, my Dad in his chair when Austin came walking into the living room. My Mom says "I can't wait until I can say 'Austin come give Gramz a hug!'" then my dad says "Austin come give Papa a hug" opens up his arms and waits. Sure enough Austin looks up, throws his arms up and runs to Papa giving him a big bear hug. My Dad and I laughed so hard! My Mom didn't find it as funny as we did, but it made her realize just how much he is understanding these days!
4. MNO. Thursday Night was Mom's night out! We had a wine tasting and I hosted! It was so much fun! Everyone brought a bottle of wine and a dish to share. We tasted each wine together, then got a glass of our favorite. Great conversation, great friends, great wine! Can't beat that! I hope we do that one again soon!
5. Mommy! Austin has been saying Mommy for a while now but would still prefer to call me Mama. It has suddenly changed in the last few days. Its Mommy all the time now! and I love it! I never get tired of hearing his little voice =) He makes me so happy. I can be having the worst day and he will find a way to brighten it! I am so Thankful I have him in my life!
5 Things I am Thankful For:
1. Austin!! He is the most amazing Baby Boy ever, no doubt about it!
2. Friends! I am lucky to have some amazing friends who I can always count on
3. Family! I love my family more than anything else in this world.
4. My husband's wonderful Job! We are so lucky that Tim has a great job and can provide for us!
5. Most of all I am Thankful that I will get to see all of my Family for the Holidays this year!
