5 Things that Made me Smile Last Night

5 Things that Made me Smile LAST NIGHT:

1. Austin's Second Halloween. This year was our Second Halloween with Austin, and it really made me realize how fast he is growing! This time last year he was barely crawling! This year was a lot of fun since Austin was WAY more into everything that was going on. We did so many fun activities this week and each and everyone of them was so much fun just to see the look on his face.

2. Our Costumes. This year I pulled out an OLD costume, my poodle Skirt! I had to fix it up a bit and sew on a new poodle and then I was ready to go! and what Poodle skirt is complete without a very puffy petticoat...that I kept hitting everyone with all night lol! Tim went as my "50's dude" in his whit shirt, rolled up jeans, and slicked back hair. And of course what goes better with a 50's couple than an Elephant?! Austin was adorable as our little Republican LOL

3. FOOD! For our Party Last night I made a HUGE pot of my famous Chili, and I have to say it was super yummy! We also had, corn bread, queso, guacamole, mummy dogs, s'mores Carmel apples, cookies, cake, ice cream, hot chocolate, punch...and lots and lots of candy!

4. Watching Austin get his first "Trick or Treat" Candy. There are some first you don't forget, and this will be one of them. Austin walked up to the neighbor's house, we said trick or treat, and they let him pick out his first piece of candy..of course he had to Pick out the PERFECT one LOL. After some thought, he picked out a lolly pop, which he held on to all night long!

5. Austin's Skeleton PJ's. These PJ's were just too cute not to make the list! After we got home from Trick or Treating we had a costume change hehe. Austin got into his Jammies and went outside to play with his friends. We had moved our playhouse and picnic bench into the front yard for the kids to play on, which was the best Idea I had all day! It was perfect. Us parents sat in the driveway, drank hot chocolate and passed out candy while the kiddos played in the yard. We even had a few bales of hay for them to climb on which Austin thought was pretty funny =)

I hope all of our Friends and Family had a wonderful Halloween. Thank you to all of our great friends who came to our party and helped make last night a great Halloween!!
