MILK

I am a "Babywise" Mom and have been very faithful to the books from the beginning. I have heard about teaching your baby sign language but never really thought it was for me...until...I read in babywise that around 14 months babies might start throwing a "mini" tantrum. This is mostly because they can't communicate what they want any other way! Our children understand SO much of what we are saying to them, but can't communicate on the same level. Babywise suggested teaching your baby a few simple signs to help this problem. So two days ago I started teaching Austin three signs Milk, All done, and Help. I am so excited that Austin just did his first sign! MILK! he was getting fussy and I asked him "Austin do you want some milk?" did the sign for milk and went to the kitchen to get it. When I walked back in the room he was sitting on the floor doing the sign! I wish i had a video camera going! I hope he keeps it up and continues to learn more signs! thank you babywise! =)
