The Difference a Year can make

So if you are reading my blog you know I'm on a new work out routine and loving it! One of my girlfriends has also lost a lot of weight recently (way to go Whitney!) she posted some old pictures of herself and then compared them with some more recent ones. and wow! what a difference a year can make! i decided to go back through my pictures from a year ago and see how I looked. Now granted I was pregnant, but still! I'm very proud of how far I've come in only a year! I hope I keep this momentum and can loose a little bit more before swim suit season!

Today we went and ate lunch to celebrate Tim's 34th Birthday! Afterward we walked around the outlet mall and got Austin and Tim some new clothes. =)

Austin's New Friend..

Austin made a new friend! Yesterday we had a relaxing day, dinner with friends and then went to the wolf ranch shopping center here in town. It's a really nice shopping center and it's fun just to walk around. We stopped in PetLand just to LOOK. I personally do not think we need another dog right now but ever since Cracker ran away I know that Tim has been wanting one very badly. Austin LOVES dogs, but Tinkerbell still is not into playing with him. So we stopped in just to look and decided to let Austin play with one of the puppies. The puppy is a corgi, so cute! Kristin told me that they are not very good dogs though =( so IF we were to get another dog we need to find a kid friendly one..any suggestions?

Feel the Burn!

We used to belong to the Rec Center here in town but it was really small and kind of crappy to say the least. About a year ago they starting bulling an expansion to it. It opened at the end of January so earlier this week Austin and I decided to go check it out. It is amazing! It is sooo nice and there is so much to do! There is an indoor pool, outdoor "spray" pool (which i cannot wait to try out), walking track, huge weight room, tons of classes and..babysitting! So I of course joined again! I plan to go to lots of the classes that they offer. I feel like I get a better work out when someone else is there telling me what to do haha! But I really have enjoyed the last few days. I think it is good for Austin too. He gets to be with other kids in a fun safe place. It gives me some "me" time but I know that he is safe just right down the hall! And of course the sitters there LOVE him. When I pick him up I hear about how happy he was the entire time and how well he played with the other kids! I'm very excited about our new routine =) We'll be fit and ready for summer!

I took Austin to the Dr. today because he had a runny nose and not all of our family was 100% over the weekend so I just wanted to be safe. But I am happy to report that I FINALLY got an answer to why Austin's breathing sounds so raspy when he gets "worked up". His air way is more narrow than most kids his age. So when he plays hard, cries hard, or just has some congestion it sounds like he is Darth Vader haha, where you might not even notice it on another child. Good news is it isn't hurting him in any way and he will grow out of it! We also found out his height and weight because I couldn't remember what it was haha..he is now 23 lbs and 30 1/2 inches. Our Busy Busy Weekend!

We had a very busy weekend, but a great one! On Friday we left town to head to Dallas, however, Timmy told me that we had to make a stop in College Station to pick up my Valentines gift. As you can see he bought me the most beautiful Diamond Ring! i love it! I have the best Husband ever! Since we were in town we stopped and had lunch with my parents, brother and cousin Zach who was also there. After lunch we got back on the road and went to Dallas. That night we ate dinner at the house with Grandma, Grandpa, GG and Steve. After that Grandma and Grandpa were nice enough to watch Austin while Tim and I went out with some friends. We went to a place called Service Bar where our good friend Jay works. We had tons of friends there and have a great night of dancing and hanging out with friends. It was so nice to see some of our friends from the Circle ten council as well! On Saturday we went to lunch, hung out at the house and then that night Grandma and Grandpa watched Austin again, what great Grandparents! Tim and I had a nice night out by ourselves in the west end. We went to a steakhouse and then walked around and enjoyed the night together. Sunday we went to Church with GG. Austin played with the church kids during the service, it was nice. After that we went over to the Davis' to see Greg, Lindsay, Madison and new baby Preston. Preston is so cute! Austin can't wait until he is big enough to play. After hanging out and seeing the baby Tim and I went bowling with Jeff and Jacquelyn. I of course got several gutter balls before getting the hang of it haha! but it was still fun! Later that night we had dinner at Dave n' Busters with Tyler, Jessica, Kristin, Jeff, Anthony, and Whitney. After dinner us girls went to see "He's just not that into you". It was a great chick flick! After the movie we met back up with the boys at Dave n' busters and played a few games before going back to the house to hang out a little longer. And this afternoon Tim went to lunch with his Dad before we left town........so yes BUSY BUSY WEEKEND! BUT SO MUCH FUN! I'm so glad that we got to see so many friends and hang out! We are lucky to have such great Grandparents to watch Austin so much for us while we had some Adult time! haha! I wish i had taken more pictures of the weekend..but here is what i have =)

I'm and Aunt..again!

Yesterday my sister in law delivered a baby boy, Preston Davis. He looks so cute and we cannot wait to see him this weekend! I can now say I have a niece and a nephew! wahoo! I think the Molepske genes must be very strong because I see some major family resemblance between Austin and Preston! you be the judge haha! We're coming up on Austin's first Birthday so I can't help but look back at how tiny he was..they grow so fast! Congrats to Greg and Lindsay on their new addition..enjoy it!
