Our weekend

Friday night Tim, Austin and I drove to College Station so that we could work on some more real estate stuff over the weekend before we leave for our trip this week. Tim really got into the real estate stuff so I let him show a few houses. He rented one to the second client he showed to! way to go Timmy! The rest of the time we swam and just had a relaxing weekend with Austin. I took Tim to Koppe Bridge for dinner Sat night, its a local bar and grill place. Tim really enjoyed it...especially the beer =)

Austin is still growing like a weed! Tinkerbell has really been loving him lately too, she came up to him yesterday and gave him a big wet kiss =) Here are a few pictures that I have taken lately and just had not posted.

Silly Boy

This kid loves to stick his tongue out! Austin and I have been preparing for our trip this week. grocery shopping, laundry and packing oh my! He is still sleeping well in his crib upstairs. On his last bottle of the night I take him upstairs and we rock while he eats, then i kiss him goodnight. Its become a nice routine. =) He is growing so fast! He loves to lay on his play mat and play with his toys that hang over him. It's fun to watch him because he now realizes that he is the one making the toys move!

I'm a big boy now

Austin slept in his crib upstairs for the first time on Sunday night. I was a little sad and a lot scared about leaving him up there all night. He has been sleeping through the night for over 4 weeks now and the bassinet was getting a little small for him. He is so long! he is going to be very tall. So we bought the angel care monitor with a sensor pad that monitors his movements. That way if he were to stop breathing an alarm will go off. That really has helped to ease my mind. He is loving his crib though. I was a little worried that maybe he would wake up in the middle of the night or wake up really early just because he was in a new place. Didn't happen! not only did he sleep through the night but he slept in until 9am!! He is such a good sleeper..thank goodness because Mommy and Daddy like to sleep too =)

Back at Home

This past week Austin and I went to College Station. My dad, mom, and brother left for a 7 day cruise today and Grams just had to see Austin one more time before she left! I was also in town to work on some Real Estate stuff. Austin got to hang out with Grams, go swimming, spend time with Uncle Matthew and Papa all week while mommy worked. We leave next week to go on vacation in South Padre! It will be Austin's first beach trip and we can't wait!

Austin is growing so fast! He is just the best baby every, always happy and smiling.

Gone Fishing...not really.

I have been in College Station this week doing some work for my mom. If you were wondering why I hadn't written a blog, thats why! My parents and brother are getting ready to leave on a cruise this Sunday and Grams just had to see Austin one more time before she left! I have some cute pictures to upload when i get home! More later this week...

A Little Late...

This is a little late, but i blame my parents for not sending me the pictures sooner! haha! My Little Brother graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in May. He is headed off to Trinity College in the fall on a Academic Scholarship! He will also be playing football for them! I am so proud of Matthew, he is an amazing kid and has done very well in High School. I know that he will do the same as he heads into College. He plans to be pre-med, DR. FITZ!!! i love you!

Our first Father's Day

Today was Tim's first Fathers Day! We started off with a bath, our morning routine. Austin has really come to like his baths..always fun! After that we let Daddy pick where he wanted to go to lunch. He picked Pluckers Wings. Daddy got to open his first Fathers Day gift from Austin...Austin made it himself! After lunch we went to the movies. Again we let Daddy pick whatever movie he wanted. Indiana Jones! Austin LOVED the movie (AKA he slept through the entire thing!) Now we are at home enjoying the rest of the evening together. I hope it was a great first Father's Day for our Daddy, we love you!

Todays Adventure

Today Tim and I took Austin to the Market Days here in Georgetown. It is where vendors of all kinds come and set up a booth in the square. There is music, food, and lots of neat things being sold. This is the place that I plan on setting up a booth for Austin's baby Boutique to sell the UT items plus the hand made crafts I've been working on. It was great fun! after we walked down to our neighborhood pool. Austin loves swimming!

My Cousin Kirsten had her baby yesterday! Happy Birthday Brooklyn!! Her Big Brother Devon is very excited about her arrival! We can't wait to meet her!

UT vs ATM

Poor Austin..he is going to be so confused growing up with the initials ATM and living in Austin! I thought this picture was too funny..He is wearing his UT outfit and snuggling with his Aggie blanket. Also, as some of you already know I have started making diaper cakes, cupcakes, custom burp clothes, and a ton of other hand made baby items. We will be selling them on Market Days here in Georgetown. I'm calling it Austin's Baby Boutique! Austin's Baby Boutique is proud to say that we just got a TON of UT inventory! Doctors Visit

Yesterday Austin had his 2 month check up. He did great! He is now 11 lbs 12 oz!!! He is 23 inches long and his head is 38 cm (Tim is very worried about his head being too big haha) His weight, length AND his head measurement are on exactly in the 50th percentile, which the Dr. said was PERFECT. We'll duh He is a Molepske ;)

The Dr. Had two "students" that were observing her and they joined us when the Dr. examined Austin. She tested his ears, eyes, reflex, and gave him an over all good look. She said he is VERY strong for his age and everything checked out well. The Students were just in love with Austin, who couldn't be right? And when they were testing his reflex he grabbed on to one of the students and wouldn't let go. Then he just started smiling and cooing, being a total flirt!

The bad part of the visit was when they gave him 3 shots! he Screamed of course and turned bright red! as soon as I was allowed to pick him up he settled right down, but I was still upset! seeing your baby cry is never fun! He was a little fussy last night when we were home, and I was worried he might be up all night. However, he slept through the night without any problems and is in a great mood this morning!
