Waiting for Friday again

Our weekend was good. Tim worked from home on Friday so we got some extra Daddy time. We made one more trip to the Dr. on Friday because Austin wasn't 100% like they wanted him to be by then. I was fully expecting us to have to go to the hospital for chest x-rays, especially after the Dr. said he might also have a touch of bronchiolitis! However, we were able to do a breathing treatment there in the office and he responded really well to it. It gave him some relief and opened up his air ways so he can breathe! We are still on antibiotics and are now doing this breathing treatment 3 times a day. I hope he gets better soon! He sure has been a trooper though! After the Dr. visit we went and had lunch with Daddy at a new place in town called Mama Fu's Asian House. Saturday we relaxed, had some Mexican food, and watched Yes Man! It was an OK movie =) Sunday I was on a mission! I started cleaning out closets and what not, getting ready for changed =) Tim mowed the lawn, we had dinner and then took a walk to the park. So today is Monday...waiting for Friday again haha!

Back Yard Fun

Today Austin is still not 100% looks like we will be making a trip to the Dr. in the morning so that his Pneumonia doesn't get worse. It's hard to believe he is sick when he is in such a good mood! We spent the afternoon playing in the back yard. We are ready for summer!

Thing 1 and Thing 2

I have no new pictures lately..shocker I know! I will try to take some soon. Austin did two things today that I wanted to write about before I forgot. This morning he was crawling up the stairs and once he got to the top he started crying because he couldn't figure out how to get down. I showed him how to lay on his tummy and crawl down backwards, and off he went! So now Austin knows how to go up and down the stairs..yay? not sure if that is good or bad haha! The other thing that I was very proud of him for today was drinking out of a regular cup all by himself! I had left my glass of water on the coffee table (oops!) and I was busy with something but out of the corner of my eye I saw him crawl to the table and stand up in front of the cup. I thought, oh great I get to clean this up in a minute! But to my surprise he picked up the cup with both hands and drank out of it! Granted his aim was a little off and we did end up with a wet shirt hehe, but he has the concept down! He is a big boy now!

Seriously!

I took Austin to the Dr. this morning and turns out he has Pneumonia! I would say keep us in your thoughts and prayers because Pneumonia sounds really scary especially for a baby..however as I write this Austin is chasing Tinkerbell around the house laughing his head off. Seriously! Its official. He really is the happiest baby ever. He has a fever and Pneumonia and he is just as happy as can be! I'd say that's probably why we didn't catch it sooner. I thought he just had a bad cold because he was acting like his normal happy self! Oh well! We do have to keep an eye on him and give him antibiotics. If he is not 100% by Friday the Dr. said we will have to come back in for chest x-rays. So hopefully the antibiotics will do their thing and we will be just fine!

Pillow Fight

Those of you who have been to my house recently know that I have two little green pillows on each couch. I also have several other pillows that match the couch. And for those of you who know me..know that I will fluff said pillows countless times every day. Its just one of those things that I do. Every time I walk into the room I HAVE to fluff the pillows. Call it the inner Realtor in me coming out (making the house always ready to show) or call it OCD..but either way, the pillows are fluffed and placed in their perfect spot a minimum of 6 times a day. Well guess what Austin's new favorite thing to do is?! Yes, he pulls my green pillows off the couch! He pulls them down and plays with them in the floor building little pillow forts. It was cute to watch the first few times, but now I'm irritated that my pillows are always messed up! haha! I guess this is one of those "mommy moments" where I have to step back and say "it could be worse!" I do find it funny that he will only do this with the green ones though. Maybe green is his favorite color =)

In other news, the weather has been awful the past few days, rainy and dark all day! It looks like we might get a little break from that today. I'm hoping we get to go to the park later. Austin hasn't been feeling 100% lately so I'm also hoping it goes aways quickly and doesn't get worse!

Slip Sliding Away

Today Austin and I are still in CS hanging out with Gramz and Papa. My mom had "tour day" today for real estate. We met her over at her listing with our Green team shirts on for some pictures! Austin's shirt is so cute, and I have no doubt he will be making an appearance on the Celtic Website! www.collegestationhome.com After tour day we went and had dinner at Texas Road House. They make the best steak ever. After dinner Austin, Gramz, Charlie (the dog haha) and I all went to the park. My parents live right across the street from a school and park and Austin just loves to go play! His favorite thing today was the "balls" and the slide. it wasn't the sliding down the slide that he liked so much, it was trying to crawl up the slide haha! he had no traction and just kept on trying to get to the top, it was too funny!

Easter Weekend

Pictures from this weekend! Sat. we had breakfast with Gramz, Papa, Matthew, and Daddy. Later that day we went to the Mall to see the Easter Bunny! After Austin got his picture taken we had dinner and then headed to the bowling Alley! We met up with some other extended family and friends and had a blast! I'm proud that I broke 50 haha! Sunday morning we got up and went to Church. I had not been to this church since I was maybe 10 so it was interesting to see how things had changed! After Church we came back to the house and Mom cooked a fantastic lunch! We sat on the back patio (which they just re-did and added a deck on! ) and opened our Easter goodies. Austin LOVES his Easter Eggs..mostly because they roll around and he likes to chase them. Gramz put pretzels, cheerios, and little cookies in his eggs instead of candy (thanks mom!) what a good idea! Over all it was a good weekend spent relaxing and hanging out with family!
