Day after Turkey Day

Yesterday was Thanksgiving and we spent it with my family this year. Our family, minus Matthew who was feeling sick, drove to Katy yesterday for Turkey dinner at my Uncle Dave's new house. They have a beautiful new home and dinner was yummy! My cousin Kirsten was there with her daughter Brooklyn who is about 2 months younger than Austin. I think the babies had fun playing together. Of course I took pictures but will not post those until we are home! So here are some pictures to tide everyone over until I can get the Thanksgiving ones up. These were taken at the park that is right across the street from my parents house. I think we took these on Tuesday...enjoy =)
I think Austin and Tinkerbell are looking at the same thing in this one haha

GO BABY GO!

Austin is on the move! He has been "scooting" for a while now, but not really getting anywhere. Today for the first time he pulled himself a good six feet! He has a thing for the tv remote and my cell phone. Well I cannot let him have my cell phone to play with as it is already on its last leg, but we did have an extra tv remote that we no longer use. So the remote has been added to Austin's toy box..and this is what he wanted today. Daddy figured this out and used that as a lure to get him to crawl haha. So yes, the first time Austin crawled..he was crawling toward the remote control! Typical boy! We are going to work extra hard every day this month so that we can really show off our crawling skills at Christmas to the Grandparents =)

One little, two little, three little Indian..MY LITTLE INDIAN BOY!

Gramz and Austin made a drum and Indian headband last week. We took these picture for Thanksgiving, but I couldn't wait to post them. So in honor of Turkey Day....

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM AUSTIN THE INDIAN!!

AUSTIN'S TWO FRONT TEETH COMING IN!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!

so still no camera! But I wanted to do a quick update. Austin is getting his two front teeth! they have come through the gums so they will be here by Christmas..maybe even Thanksgiving! Over the weekend Austin and I called GG Claus and talked to her about her trip to Texas. We sure hope that she can make it down for the holidays. Austin can't wait to meet his GG! Austin is doing great, getting teeth, starting to babble more, "scooting" across the floor, playing with more toys and realizing he can do so much with those hands! He is defiantly becoming more active! Last night we had our first taste of Chicken! (baby food still) He wasn't sure at first but then loved it! I'm so glad that he has been a good eater. He loves all kinds of fruits, veggies and now chicken! Last week we had a play date with an old friend of mine who lives in College Station. She has 3 boys of her own! I can't imagine having more than one right now! But the boys all played very well together and the mommies got to play catch up...so that is my update! Hope everyone has a great week!

Our Halloween Weekend

Our Halloween weekend was pretty good. Austin still wasn't feeling great but we made the best of it. Gramz and Papa were here for trick or treats. we made some snacks and put on our scary music and sat outside to see all the trick or treaters go by.
Sat morning we got up to drive to San Antonio to watch the Trinity game. Unfortunately they lost this year..but we still believe ;) we'll get em' next year! We stayed the night in San Antonio and hung out with Uncle Matthew, Jojo, Daryl, Gramz, Papa, Dado, Georgia, Zach and Devon. Devon was a great helper with Austin =) I can tell he has been putting his big brother skills to great use!
We came home last night and had a quiet evening. Today my mission is to clean out my closet..
