Happy Halloween!

Pictures of Austin and I all dressed up! we had a dinner party to go to last Friday night. Austin got to hang out with Lydia his favorite friend!
Today I decided to take some pictures of Austin in his Dragon and Pumpkin costumes because we aren't sure what we will be wearing tomorrow night. We ended up with lots of diff outfits this year. Dede gave us the Dragon, Gramz gave us the pumpkin. Austin still isn't feeling great so there wern't too many smiles for mommy today =( maybe tomorrow night we be better

Pumpkin Patch

Last week we took Austin to our Church Pumpkin Patch to get his first pumpkin! They had wagons that we put Austin in while we walked around. He liked it so much Santa might have to bring him one for Christmas this year =) Unfortunatly Austin wasn't feeling good when we went so we let him pick a pumpking, took some pictures and headed home =(

Bad Blogger!

I have been a bad blogger! I have been busy the last few weeks and have not done any updates! I will post lots of pictures for everyone to make up for it =) Austin has not been feeling well since we got home from Dallas. We went to the Dr this week and found out he has Croup. We hope he feels better for trick or treat tomorrow!

6 month shots! ouch!

Today Austin had to go to the Dr for his 6 month check up and shots. He is such a ham! he was flirting with EVERYONE. Our nurse Leigh, had him laughing soo hard and loud that the entire office could hear him. She picked him up and walked around to see all the other nurses and drs. Everyone said he was the cutest baby ever and they wish he could come to the office every day!
Austin got a good check up by Dr. Davis. He is now 27 inches long (which is very tall for his age!) and he weighs 19 lbs! which still puts him in the "average" range. After the routine check up he had to get 1 oral vaccine and 4 shots!! I hate shots so much! it's like a delayed reaction, the stick..everything is ok..but by the time the second stick comes he is blood red and screaming..which makes mommy very sad. He settles down once i can pick him up though, and even gave the nurse a good bye smile. We are back at home now and Austin is sleeping..which I'm sure he will for a while after that! We are going to try to go to the pumpkin patch tonight if Daddy gets home in time and if Austin is feeling up to it when he wakes up....So that is my update for now..maybe pictures later if we ever make it to get out pumpkin!

Fall is Here!

For those of you who did not check your Calender, Saturday was Austin's 1/2 Birthday!! He is 6 months old! The last 6 months have really changed me for the better. I love being a Mom. Austin is just a joy. I could not have asked for a better son. I love him so much! Here are some pictures we took today out in the yard with our pumpkin!
