Tummy Issues

Austin has been hanging in there this week. He is still having some tummy problems. The red dots that appeared were an allergic reaction to the formula he was on. They are starting to fade and no new ones have shown up, so that's good. His little tummy is just sensitive i guess =( We are busy packing everyone up. Tim and I are leaving for Nashville on Sunday and I am dropping Austin off with Gramz on Saturday...lets see if I can get out of town without crying...not a chance.

Sick Day

Austin has not been feeling well today. He woke up with some tiny red dots on his face and arms and has been having some major tummy issues today (no details needed trust me). We went to the Dr. this morning and she thinks that he is still not on the right formula. We were on soy already so now we are trying hypoallergenic...we'll see if that helps. No pictures today =(
Austin is so pitiful when he doesn't feel well. He pouts out his lower lip right before he starts crying..its the cutest and saddest thing I've ever seen! =(

Papa!

Today Papa came by for a surprise visit! Austin was very glad to see him. After his visit we had to go to the Dr. We went to a new Dr. this time, Austin LOVED Dr. Davis..he thought she was very funny. Everyone there was very nice and it is a very nice office. They even have a baby boutique next door! After the Dr. Austin and I went to the grocery store, came home and made dinner. That's about it today... =) thanks again for stopping by dad!

Sophie!

Austin is starting to grab for things and able to hold on to them for a bit. He also is really starting to love to "eat" things...his hands..toys..the burp cloth..whatever is available at the time. We introduced him to Sophie the Giraffe last night and he seems to like it! Sophie is Madison's favorite toy so she decided to give Austin one for his baptism, thanks Lindsay Greg and Madison!

Molepske Weekend

Our weekend was great! Friday we went up to Plano to see Tim's parents and some friends. Friday night we had a get together at the Molepske house where Austin got to meet some of our Dallas friends. Tyler and his wife Jessica, Brian and Natalie, Uncle Eric, Rachel, Anthony, Uncle Steve and Grandma and Grandpa were all there! We ate Brats and the boys took a late swim. Austin and I headed over to Kristin's house late that night because we were helping her to throw a Bridal shower on Sat. The shower was very cute and the Bride to be got lots of nice things. Later that night Kristin took Austin and I out to eat at Papasitos...sooo yummy! Sunday we went back to the Molepske house and hung out for a few more hours and Austin got to meet Mr. and Mrs Roberts and Jay! We also got to see Vanessa before we headed back Home. Pictures below!

Erika!

Erika! Austin has had a couple of very successful days of cloth diapering! I'm really liking it, i was a little worried that I would hate it after investing the money into it. But it really is so easy! I haven't had any leaks yet, its better for the earth and for Austin. So Austin is doing his part to go Green and he doesn't even know it!

What's new?

We had a good weekend. Did some yard work, had lunch out on Friday, went to the outlet mall on Sat. and Had a movie night on Sunday! Mommy and Austin went to a store called Baby Earth today to pick up some cloth diapering supplies. We are officially starting our trial of cloth diapers! We'll let you know how it goes. And my sister in law was right, it can be addictive..these diapers are so cute! I'll post a picture of Austin in his new diapers later! We are off to CS tomorrow to pick up some items for a Bridal shower I'm helping to throw this weekend. So we'll be back home on Wed. and then off to Dallas on Friday!

So Fresh and Clean

Austin loves his Winne the Pooh Robe! It was a gift from our good friends Michaelia and Kade =) Bath time is so much fun, Austin just laughs and smiles. He also loves his baby massage with his lavandar lotion. He smells soooo good and is a very happy boy after bath time!

South Padre 08

We are back at home from our Fab trip to the beach! Austin LOVED it! we have actual beach pictures to share once we get the film turned in from the disposable camera. But below are some from the trip. We left on Tuesday and spent one night in Corpus Cristi. We went to the Texas State Aquarium while we were there. We saw dolphins, otters, sharks, sting rays, fish and of course turtles! We headed down to Padre on Wednesday. We spent the rest of the trip hanging by the pool, enjoying the beach, and just relaxing! Austin enjoyed his first trip to the beach and his first 4th of July! Our little boy is growing so fast! He is really developing a personality, he is such an amazing baby! He was the hit of the island!
