On Wednesday Austin and I went to Rockdale with Lauren and Bella. We went to visit Lauren's Grandparents, Gootch and Paw Paw! They have the cutest little farm house you've ever seen and cows to play with! Austin and I have never really done anything like this before so it was quite an experience! Gootch and Paw Paw are some of the nicest people I've ever met, just down to earth GOOD people. They LOVED Austin. They showed us how to feed the cows which was so much fun! Austin just loved it! They were like big dogs to him I'm sure haha! He was going "Oooo" which was his "moo" sound LOL. Austin also loved their dog Cookie, who weighs about 5 lbs, that had the cows running scared haha! Funniest thing you've ever seen! After we fed the cows we went back the house and made our own Pizzas! it was so yummy! We got to visit with Gootch during the afternoon, and then went to a dinner at their church that evening. Austin was walking around flirting with all the church ladies! He was hamming it up good! When we got home Austin was yawning through his bath and went straight to sleep! He didn't nap all day, but was in a great mood! there was just too much to do and see, no time for sleep! We are looking forward to going back to visit! I'm so lucky to have a friend like Lauren that would share her grandparents and their amazing home with us!

Today we went to Ikea with our playdate group...something i've never done before! We ate breakfast, the kids played and then we shopped a little. It was fun! Austin had the attention of the "older" ladies haha! Caitlyn and Keilah were so sweet and just wanted to play with him! Yesterday evening was step class for Mommy and Austin got to play in the sitter room, which he loves. After class I was standing outside with a few friends talking and our instructor walked by. She stoped to say hi and saw Austin and said "your that baby! your Smiley!" So apparently everyone that comes into the sitter room is charmed by Austin and his nick name is Smiley! haha! I thought that was too funny, and just so fitting for him. Nobody can put a smile on your face like he can!
Also, Papa bough Austin some batman crocs that we've been meaning to take pictures of (per their request lol) so here is one picture and videos are coming (already on FB)

Swimming and a Fire

This morning we hosted a playdate at our pool! Austin just loves to swim and it's even better when we have friends over! I made trail mix and ice tea for everyone, and us mom's got to relax and chit chat while the kids played. It was great! Austin is such a little fishy! He loves having his floaties on and having more freedom in the water. He was following Sydney around and having so much fun with the other kids. After we got home and Austin went down for his nap I got a phone call from the Fire Department in College Station. They were calling Celtic Realtors, and since my parents are out of town on a cruise, THAT'S ME! They called to tell me that one of our Rental houses had a fire. So needless to say the rest of my day was filled with phone calls, insurance people, trying to find housing for 3 students and well..a little panic! Everyone that works for Celtic was AWESOME! They helped me figure out what to do and make the process pretty painless. I am just really thankful no one was hurt. About half of the house is a loss, so the fire was pretty bad. A&M was also amazing, I made one phone call and explained what had happened and they had housing for all 3 boys in less than 15 min. Thank you to all my wonderful friends and family who either called or sent me a message today. It was much appreciated. I'm so lucky to have such loving kind people in my life that are there for me!

Today Austin and I went to the park with our friends Shannon, Caleb, Sydney and Cade! The kids had fun running around the park and swinging on the swings! We stayed out all morning and then came back home so Austin could take a good nap! He gets worn out after playing at the park, i love it! Tonight we got to babysit Miss Bella! It is Lauren and John's anniversary so they went into Austin for a nice fancy dinner! Austin was happy that Bella came over to play. He was very curious to see what she was doing, always following her around. It was fun to see what life with two would be like ;)
