Happy Grandparent's Day!!

For those of you who don't know, September 13th is Grandparents Day!! Austin is so lucky to have 4 amazing Grandparent's and 2 wonderful GREAT Grandmothers! We are so blessed to have them in our life! They do so much for us and love us so much!! Austin told me that his only complaint so far is that he doesn't get to see them enough! I told him we would have to work on that ;) We love our GG, Jojo, Grams, Papa, Grandma and Grandpa very much! So..

Mommy!!

I keep forgetting to blog about this!! We have just been so busy lately! But in the last week or so Austin has started saying MOMMY! His first word was Mama, and he still uses that a lot. But now I'm getting lots of Mommy's from him too!! It just melts my heart every time I hear it! He is really working on getting more letters and sounds out! He is starting to develop his own little vocabulary LOL He will also say "Wuu" Which is for his dog Wucy...aka Lucy haha! I guess we are getting to what I call the "speaking chinese" stage haha! This is where only you and your husband can understand what the heck your toddler is saying! I love it! But I'm glad I finally remembered to share this!

Labor Day Weekend

We had a wonderful three day weekend! Saturday Mommy got up and mowed the yard while Daddy took Austin to HEB! Austin came home with a Balloon tied to his wrist that he followed around all morning! so cute! Later that afternoon we headed up to the pool where we met our friends Shannon, Markus, Sydney, Colton, Caleb, Cade, Susan, John and Caitlyn, Phew!! haha! Shannon and Susan are Mom's from my playdate group. We wanted to get the families together, so we swam for a few hours and then headed back to our house for dinner. I cooked a brisket and everyone brought sides to make our meal complete! The kids were so cute! They ate dinner at the picnic bench that Uncle Matthew made for Austin. After dinner the Dad's went up to our movie room (the man cave haha!) to watch some football. The big kids played outside until dark, then came inside to watch Wall-E! Us mom's got to sit and talk all night! Which is always fun! I feel really lucky to have made such good friends in such a short amount of time!

Sunday we had a lazy day..not much to tell lol! Today We had a morning playdate at the park and Daddy came with us! We met at the San Gabriel Park which is just beautiful! we were right by the river. We painted little flower pots and planted a flower in them. Austin enjoyed getting messy with the paint and playing in the dirt! such a boy! After a little play time on the swings we headed home. Austin and I decided that we were missing Gramz and Papa so we drove to CS to surprise them! We will be here for a few days, sweet home College Station!

Happy Friday!

Today was a very Happy Friday! This morning we went to Georgetown Jump with our playdate group! We had 14 mom's and their kiddos come! There were lots of familiar faces and a few new ones. I love all the mom's in our group. Everyone is really nice and so down to earth! Austin had a ball! He really loves Caleb, Caitlyn and Sydney (3 kids from the group) and was following them around! trying to keep up! It was so much fun just watching all the kids bounce around, but I have to admit I had to try it out for myself! I got in the jumper with Austin, and had a blast! We bounced around until we could bounce no more! The kids were ready for lunch so Susan, Shannon and I(plus all 5 kiddos) went to eat lunch. Like I said, everyone in the group is great, but I have really hit it off with these two Mom's. We just talk and talk when we get together! The kids all love each other too so its so much fun to see them and play! After lunch we came home and Austin took a GOOD nap! Daddy did dinner, bath and bed time while Mommy went out to Shannon's house for a bit. =)
We are really looking forward to tomorrow! We are having Shannon and Susan's families over for swimming and dinner! Lots of fun photos below!! Enjoy!
