My little Baby Mozart

Grandma and Grandpa Mo are coming to see us today! I am leaving to go out of town for a girls weekend in Houston. A group of us will be having a Spa day all day tomorrow followed by dinner and a night out on the town. I'm looking forward to it! Daddy ended up having to work so Grandma was nice enough to come down for the weekend and watch Austin! Grandpa will be attending a Boy Scout function with Daddy. Here are a few pictures from earlier in the week before I head out! Austin still loves his bath time, but we have added a new toy. Mary Beth gave us Tadoodles in the tub for his Birthday. He loves to color with them in the tub, and it washes off..great invention! Austin also loves music! He likes to play the piano, I guess he will have to take lessons =)

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope that everyone had a Fantastic Mother's Day, I sure did! =) My boys treated me very well today! I got breakfast in bed, a BIG card from Austin, a present, a NAP, and a yummy dinner out! Couldn't have been a better day! To all the Grandmothers, Great Grandmothers, and Godmothers in our lives, we love you!

AT phone home

I have been super busy lately! Had a great time last weekend with the girls, made a trip to CS and Houston this week, going to San Antonio on Sat! Today I actually got to catch up on some laundry and relax a little with Austin! It was a nice day out so we went to the pool. He wasn't so sure about the water at first. But once he saw me get in he was fine! We swam and lounged by the pool for a few hours, so relaxing! In other "Austin news"..he has been "talking on the phone" like crazy! his new favorite thing to do is take my phone and talk on it. (yes it has to be my phone the 3 play phones that he has just wont due!) It is the funniest thing ever! He usually holds it to his neck or even to the back of his head and then just talks gibberish forever! its hilarious! however we have accidentally called Aunt Kristin and Gramz a few times lol! I try to put the key guard on every time he has the phone but some times i forget, so you might be getting a call from Austin one of these days!

Weekend 1

I am going to be very busy the month of May! I have something planned pretty much every weekend! This weekend Lindsey (a friend i met through Kristin) was celebrating her graduation from Grad school! A group from Dallas came to Austin on Friday. I met them downtown at the hotel Friday night. We got ready and then headed out to sixth street! Fun was had by all =) I had a blast because not only was Kristin there but Jessi decided to come too! The three of us went to high school together and any time we can all get together its always fun. I miss them! Sat. morning a group of us got up and drove to San Marcus to float the river! I haven't done that since my bachelorette weekend! I was expecting it to be FREEZING but it was actually really nice, and oh so relaxing! After floating the river we went back to Austin and got ready to have dinner at the Hula Hut, one of my favorite local Austin restaurants. Its on the lake and is really yummy Mexican food! I had met up with Tim at that point and had Austin with me. It was way past bed time but he was a trooper! I think my favorite part of that night was some random person coming up to me and saying "excuse me Ma'am, your baby is the cutest baby i have ever seen! I just had to tell you that"

so I only got pictures of the 3 people staying in our hotel room haha so when Lindsey posts hers I'll have to steal some=)

Last night I cooked home made spaghetti for dinner. It was Yummy! This was Austin's first Spaghetti experience, he loved it..and loved getting messy haha! Too cute!
